| The Torch Foundation has raised more than $8 million in its 18 year history. Our foundation provides financial assistance directly to families in need by funding medical bills or equipment. By filling a financial void, we hope to alleviate some of the concerns of these families in crisis, allowing them to focus on the needs of their child. Additionally, the Torch Foundation supports a wide variety of children's charities. Partnering with these charities, the foundation is able to make significant donations of time, money and service to forward our mission of "Building a Foundation for a Better Tomorrow" The charities we support include: After School Arts Center - Middle Collegiate Church The Ascent School Association for Technology Dependant Children Camp Ramapo Children of Bellevue Cleary School for the Deaf Hope with Heart The Matthew Blend Fund New York Child Learning Center Ronald McDonald House Tomorrow's Children |

It is with great pride that I write this letter to our members, supporters, benefactors and friends. PRIDE, I hope is the emotion all of you have for The Torch Foundation. 'The Torch" as it is affectionately referred to in our industry has kept its word. What we said in 1990 is still true today. We will dedicate ourselves exclusively to helping children. Over the past eighteen years we have provided funds to families for; medical bills, prosthetic limbs, hospital cribs, handicapped equipment and other expenses needed for the direct care of their sick child. With your support we will be able to continue this much needed work. I have had the pleasure to speak with many of the original members of The Torch Foundation. To see the pride they have in helping to create this organization is truly amazing. We will always cherish your support and seek out advice as we continue to work on behalf of needy children. I am equally Proud of the men and women who steer The Torch Foundation today. They have continued the mission of helping children. Whether it is raising funds or donating their time they each have a valuable part in today's Torch Foundation. The Torch Foundation of tomorrow will have chapters located in places like Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut. We will be better able to manage the flow of information, better equipped to deal with the myriad of organizations. But most of all we will keep our promise... HELP CHILDREN.
