
Each year the Torch Foundation recognizes an outstanding individual to receive our Professional of the Year Award. This person has excelled in his or her field of work while also embodying the spirit of the Torch Foundation through their charitable acts. In 2001, the Torch Foundation established the John M. Griffin True Colors Award to honor individuals who display efforts, which directly benefit the underprivileged children of our society. This Award was created to honor the memory of John M. Griffin, an original member and Board of Governor of the Torch Foundation. John was a co-creator of the Foundation who exemplified our mission of giving something back to society.
